About Us

Our Vision

Our goal is for West Willow to be known as one of the healthiest and best neighborhoods to live in Washtenaw County.

Our Values

Our core values are guiding principles that shape the behavior and decision making of everyone on the team. We value collaboration to build effective solutions and high quality programs that last.

We create environments in which everyone feels valued, respected and accepted. We believe these three things can make life abundant, just and offer wholeness for everyone.

We believe each and every person possesses an array of strengths, skills, passions and unique gifts. We look at what a community has, not what’s missing.

We understand that resources are scarce and the needs in our communities are great. We strive to be good stewards and to utilize resources strategically and thoughtfully.

“Really Easy For Me”

I got a COVID-19 kit right before Thanksgiving. It was such a nice surprise with so many good things in it — like cleaning supplies and face masks. It’s difficult for me to get out and go shopping for those kinds of things. That nice student made it really easy for me. — Connie

Our Work

We love connecting people to one another, resources and information.

We work toward an approach that prioritizes the leadership, participation, and active reflection of the people most impacted by inequities.

Our work rests on the understanding that lived experience is valuable expertise — that changes not just who is engaged, but how our work is done.

We want our work to ensure that everyone has a fair and just opportunity to be as healthy as possible.

“You have wonderful programs. I really enjoy them! — Anne
