A free workshop in the West Willow Neighborhood is being offered that teaches caregivers how to provide better care and manage their own stress, emotions, and physical health. The workshop sessions are happening starting in January 2025 every Thursday of the month (4:30-5:30PM) at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church (2345 Tyler Rd., Ypsilanti, MI 48198).

The caregiver support workshops are educational session designed to provide caregivers with tools and strategies to manage the physical, emotional, and psychological demands of caring for a loved one with a chronic illness or disability, focusing also on your own self-care practices, stress management techniques, communication skills, and access to available community resources to help a family cope effectively with their caregiving role.
