The COVID-19 pandemic showed us how important technology is, but older adults who don’t know how to use it became isolated.

That’s why senior residents in the West Willow neighborhood attending the New West Willow Neighborhood Association sponsored training class are receiving free tablets and the training to use them.

Residents registering for the 6-week technology training class learn to send emails, make Zoom calls and access resources on the internet. About 10 seniors have already participated in the grant-funded course.
