Chair Exercise Workshop


The Chair Exercise begins on Thursday, March 17th, every Thursday at 6:15 and ends on April 14th at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church, Multipurpose Bldg. (2345 Tyler Rd., Ypsilanti, MI 48198 . (See the flyer here.)

This low intensity workout combines cardio, strength and flexibility, all modified to a seated position. A perfect exercise class for seniors, those just starting an exercise routine, those with balance issues, those recovering from an injury or surgery or anyone who needs a very low intensity workout.

Chair Fitness Class Preparation

  • New to class? Arrive a little early so our instructor can give you some pointers.

  • Alert your instructor of any injuries so they can provide modification options.

  • Unhurry yourself. Arrive a few minutes before class starts. You’ll feel more relaxed.
